How it works
Moisture control, without the moving parts.
No power, no filters, no maintenance beyond replacing the container when it's done its job.
The short version
Crystals attract water vapour from the air and hold it.
Each container holds calcium chloride dihydrate crystals. As damp air passes over them, they draw in water vapour and gradually dissolve — the moisture collects as liquid in a reservoir at the base of the container, away from the crystals themselves.
Using it
Three steps, start to finish.
Place
Remove the shrink wrap and foil seal, keep the white membrane layer intact, and stand the container on a flat, stable surface.
Absorb
The crystals draw moisture from the air and gradually dissolve as it collects in the lower reservoir — no power, no attention needed.
Replace
Once the crystals are fully dissolved or the reservoir is full, dispose of the container responsibly and place a fresh one.
Harmful if swallowed. Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention. Dispose of container in accordance with local regulations.
